Fly the wing and tether set unmanned via extra-long launching tethers;

- Lift just the wing set and long tether in nil wind via
solar-heated-air balloon. Wait for thermal to hold the wing set and
balloon; with good timing begin to climb the long tether while
controlling the wing set in the thermal. Either detach from
balloon and have its return line be used to keep the balloon; dump the
air and have the balloon canopy available for another use later.
- Examine beaded chutes on kite or kytoon or balloon lifted line.
Study the sink rates. Decommissioning the chutes.
