does not state the date that the
Yuma test was done.
The near-standard control A-frame used in hang gliding over 50 years ago in 1908
is assisted to hold the payload by a frontal A-frame. Also a fifth rear bar
might triangulate to stabilize the payload. Army-Ryan test:
John Worth had already established the A-frame for hang gliders for the
NASA environment on the flexible wing; then Ryan
used the similar arrangement to hold payloads.
