"No-hope" for these kite-energy schemes ... Are there proposals or projects overwhich someone is declaring "no-hope for THAT scheme" ? What is meant by the declaring party? Is the "hope" only regarding profit by investor or is the lack of hope regarding the physics and feasibility of the scheme? Perhaps a "no-hope" scheme has redeeming aspects; perhaps a tweak in the scheme would yield more hope. This thread could discuss "no-hope kite-energy schemes" that someone places for our focus. |

Are there any "fake" kite-energy proposals, designs, or projects? This thread invites discussion of matters that someone is calling out as a "fake" kite-energy scheme. When a matter is set on the table, then a discussion on the matter could follow by those interested. Perhaps redeeming aspects of the scheme will be found. Is there proof that a niche application or market will not be available for the scheme? Etc. |
