Happy day. Nice Mark!
And big thanks to Joe Faust for permission to republish the early
Low $ Slow issues. I have other stuff that I'm in the process of
scanning, and I expect some of it to find its way onto future releases
of historical material, possibly accompanied by early film footage,
images, club newsletters and such. There wasn't room for everything to
go on this set, but we got all the USHGA magazines on there and the
early L&S.
As I sit here typing this, the disc printer is busily churning
out DVDs and my inkjet printer is making cover artwork and
the interior booklets. I have a stack of empty boxes waiting in
the garage to be stuffed, and one bookshelf stacked full of
DVD blanks. The front bedroom is full of boxes containing all
of the magazines (post scanning, de-stapled and split) as
well as packing material. It's been a lot of work, but the results
(I hope) will be seen as valuable.
Next task is an updated disk covering 2005, and adding some other "good
stuff" as I get it done. And getting some material shipped back to
various people (Hi Ken!) who've loaned it to me. :-)
I shipped several cases of DVDs to the office today, so we should have
plenty of them to send out by late next week. They're up on the USHGA
store site for sale:

And while you're at it, get a calendar. As a completely-unexpected
note, the cover photo of Chris Muller features the glider that I
now own, which I bought after it came back from filming "Pura Vida".
Flies nice, but I'll never fly it the way Chris and Bo did.
