Anchors
to kite-energy systems, AWES, kite systems

We note that "kite" as "tether-coupled wings" has "anchors" being  "wings" resisting or reacting to wings in an opposing wing set. Anchors may seem fixed to some reference frame or moving in other reference frames. Free-falling anchors are seen in kite hang gliders, kite paragliders, fugitive kites, etc.   Moving anchors are seen in towing vehicles or towed vehicles, say kited freighter ships or kiteboarders.  The tension in a kite's tethers arrive from opposing forces; the most typical ancient scene is a hand resisting the pull of a wing that is converting the wind's energy to mechanical energy; the critical player sets: W1,T,W2  where W1 is the anchor set of wings, T is the tether set, and W2 is the other wing set.
