  • Just walking on Earth ends up having some insects die, and more. But humans may do their part in acting so as to preserve wildlife prudently. Species prejudice operates in societies and changes for various reasons. Operating AWES or any type of kite system will have a net effect over people, animals, and plants. Operators of AWES or energy kite system may sharpen their awareness of such net effects in order to support their response to the expectations of society. Sectors of society may act to prevent or close an AWES activity upon arguments that wildlife is being too negatively impacted by the activity. An AWE activity's legal costs may be sized by studies, observations, reports, and agreements.Be aware of governmental laws and regulations relative to wildlife preservation.

  • AWE activity may involve new tramplings, sounds, object motions, traffic, sights, lights, ground  clearing, grubbing, construction, electrical installations, and  perhaps other hazards. Wildlife and human neighbors will be affected by the activity's footprint and "airprint" or "waterprint."   AWE may aim to be a good neighbor.  If an AWE activity is perceived to be a bad neighbor, then revolt may ensue. Such matters may be costly.  Has an AWE company, consumer, OEM, or operator carried out due diligence over environmental questions before and during AWE operations?  All such concern is part of the cost-and-benefit portfolio of an AWE operation. Indeed, some AWE operations fully evaluated may be seen as a positive help to the environment compared to alternatives.

  • Birds, bats, cows, horses, dogs, cats, people, plants, etc. ...  and AWE?

  • AWE entitities operatng may have standard operating procedures (SOPs) that address what to do when certain species are downed, injured, or killed by the AWE activity. A directory of apropriate volunteer, government, or commercial agencies could be handy to help handle emergencies. First-aid?  Liability and insurance may be part of this scene.
