March 20, 2020, post by Dave Santos Years ago in AWE R&D,
basic kite power virtues based on simple rag and string became
relatively overlooked and neglected in favor of flashy "energy drone"
concepts, which won the lion's share of investment and attention.
Spurned "rag and string" kite folks recognized success could only come
by a "Cinderella" narrative arc. And so it goes, that the AWE plot
continues to unfold with uncanny predictability, as the "step-sister"
ventures try and fall short.
Here
is the original Grimm's Cinderella, the most authoritative of many
variants kids today are exposed to (ie. by Disney). At-odds with
watered down popular versions, the original is more about ancestral
ghosts, divine birds, and sacred trees, with spectacular garments
magically delivered from the sky. The AWE story is now at the point
where the step-sisters are cruelly exposed, but Cinderella is still
demurely unknown to the Prince. Low-complexity AWE is finally poised to
fit the golden slipper, given its chance.
