One-Way Loop Ground-Gen
Driven loop generates electricity or does other good works: Loop ever is driven in one direction to keep generator operating. Main tether stays at constant length. Loop has catches. Fly two tethered wing; one is driving the loop up while the other is flying free to a lower portion of the loop. When the lower portion of the loop is being driven, then the upper tethered wing flies down and gets released from the loop. Repeat the cycling of the two wings. The loop is ever driven in just one direction. Fast fly non-driving wing to a low point of the taut section of the loop; then when reaching the low point of the taut section of the loop, engage the loop again with the line of the lower tethered wing; once engage is firm and the loop is being driven by the lower tethered wing, then the upper driving wing releases from driving duty in order to fly again to a lower portion of the taut wing. While the non-drivng wing system is flying to the low position, the other tethered-wing system is driving the loop up.  The loop keeps being driven in one direction. The loop is driving a ground generator without any reversal of direction of the generator's rotation.       More than two tethered-wing systems may be employed to drive a given loop.   Once the upper wing releases the upper portion of the loop, that portion flops downwind.   The loop stays wthin a vertical plane. No pulleys. No fairleads. Generation of electricity is continuous; the generator is always rotating in one direction. Design improvements are needed. Power kites are recommended. Live human pilot control is recommended for first versions of the system. Automatic control solutions are possible; there is room for design engineers to resolve the automatic controls.   Variations of the system are envisioned.

* Note: "CoolIP"     (cool IP)    is a catch-all for shared AWE knowledge (FairIP/coopIP) that combines high open-source freedom with "honor-system" consideration for the creators, as that knowledge proves commercially valuable to big business. It is a work-around to the "broken" global patent system, for small inventors. The AWE Consortium has been challenged in writing to accept cool/fair/coop AWE IP, but has not yet responded. It will be very hard for AWE companies to completely avoid the many good ideas gathered under the CoolIP banner. AWEIA is proposed to arbitrate eventual fairness disputes related to the new IP vehicle.
