Oct. 15, 2019        Dave Santos Battelle as AWE's Major Player?! As two AWE touch-points, what does Miles Loyd at Livermore Labs and Fort Felker at NREL have in common? Battelle, a massive private quiet LLC happens to manage both institutions and many major US labs, particularly weapons labs. NREL itself is an LLC under Battelle subcontract. Talk about Ike's military-industrial dystopia, as entrenched as ever, now going big in AWE. We are seeing the hidden buttons and levers that will drive massive US R&D.
